LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
Celestial Church of Christ – God Is My Light Parish, Aachen, Germany
On a peaceful Sunday morning in Aachen, the blue-and-white robes of the Celestial Church of Christ flowed gently as members gathered for service. The choir’s voices rose softly, filling the sanctuary with worship as the Shepherd opened the Scriptures to the words of Jesus:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
As the message unfolded, the parish felt wrapped in a deep, quiet presence.
The Shepherd reminded everyone that loving God is not only a command—it is a lifestyle. It is seen in the way we pray, the way we give, the way we forgive, and the way we serve one another in unity.
He spoke of loving God with all your heart—
not halfway, not when convenient, but fully and sincerely.
With a heart that worships beyond the hymns,
a heart that trusts God in challenges,
a heart that shines as a light in Germany and beyond.
The congregation responded with powerful hymns, raising their hands as the Spirit moved:
“Father, we praise Your holy name…”
In that moment, it didn’t matter where anyone had come from—Nigeria, Germany, or anywhere else. What united the entire parish was a love for God that filled the room like warm light.
As the service closed, Shepherd Adebayo spoke a blessing:
“May God strengthen your hearts to love Him completely.
In this parish, may His light never grow dim.”
And as members stepped outside into the cool Aachen breeze, they carried that message with them—
a reminder that true love for God begins in the heart,
and shines out into the world.
